Hello my friends, let me tell you about another awesome find that I had been meaning to get to for quite some time. Michelangelo is an amazing Italian restaurant located in Eastport just off Sunrise Highway eastbound at exit 61 and old Eastport-Manor Rd.
We sat in a very lovely dining room with a beautiful bar to sit at and have a drink/food. The staff was so amazing and very attentive to your needs.
They start you off with warm Italian bread in a basket with sides of evoo, butter or a fresh tomato spread.
Sam was our waiter who gave us great service along with Brianna who was the assistant. As I sat there, I watched how they both were taking care of their tables, never stopped to move, always bringing and taking things from the table. Amazing service.
We started with the fried calamari which was delicately seasoned and floured. The plate was loaded up with rings and tentacles of nice size!!!! They were tender and very delicious! Then we got a huge and delicious salad which I didn't expect!!
My wife ordered the pasta Cremosa which was a nice portion of part and an abundant of shiny nice large-jumbo shrimp. She asked that the shrimp were not fried and they gladly made it that way, she loved it.
I ordered the parmigiana trio which consisted of Veal, Chicken and Shrimp parmigiana!!! It came with a pasta side. First, I loved the huge deep dish that it came on, I wanted to take it home lol! The portion was excellent, 2 nice portions of break and chicken and 2 jumbo shrimp, which I was so surprised to see because it was hidden under the melted cheese!! And I have to say that their sauce was really amazing, the taste of tomatoes in the sauce was delicious!
I basically ate half my dish, as well as my wife. We took dinner for the next night home in our portions!
I highly recommend Michelangelo. The food is awesome, the ambiance is really nice and warm and the service amazing!!

This place was good before but the last couple times we ordered the made several mistakes.. Also we just did a online order and they forgot half of our delivery and they did not want to deliver the rest. Never ordering back here again. Can't eat half way ..

Placed online order, nov 9th for 135$ and tipped driver and only received half order. No pizza pie or my side order, I called pizza place and they said sorry they can’t help me I have to call the delivery company “slice” and they have to call them back to confirm so I cans get a refund or new driver to deliver back to fix issue. Michaelangelos said they can’t deliver and can’t even refund me until I call slice and slice confirms the mistake with them. I called slice which is a “DELIVERY” service and they told me they CANNOT deliver my missing items! I said so you are a delivery service that won’t deliver my food to me!!!! How ridiculous is this bs??? This is the 5th time it’s happened, my dinner is ruined and they had the nerve to tell me I can go pick the missing items up because they won’t deliver! Meanwhile I’m disabled and can’t drive there! I went into Michelangelo’s website and placed an “online order” through them. they use a delivery service (slice and DoorDash) that are totally incompetent and they chose them, not me but I have to go back and forth otp with both to get help which was NOT provided. I lose part of my dinner and hours wasted on the phone. This is a COMPLETE FAILURE on both of them and their processes! They all have lost a customer and both WOULD NOT fix this and make this right!!! I want a FULL refund for this whole order for:
1. ruining my dinner
2. telling me I had to call the delivery service that they chose and use (which is work for me I’m not getting paid for)
3. Putting me in a situation that has a communication barrier bc the driver did not speak English and could not explain to me why my order was missing and what to do bc of it
4. wait otp taking my valuable time to explain my situation several times
5. stressing me out and raising my blood pressure that I am on medication for bc it’s already high
6. Ruining my health further and creating a situation (that was not occurring at the moment) until their mistakes happened) where my blood pressure increased by placing me in a situation leading to increased blood pressure (bp)
7. Placing me in a situation that I had to deal with immediately that I didn’t want to deal with and shouldn’t have to have dealt with
8. Placing me in a situation with extremely poor customer service bc of another’s mistake and incompetence that was totally out of my control
9. ruining my night bc I was now forced into this situation by them both
10. Ruining my family’s dinner and night bc what was ordered and paid for, did not arrive and would not be corrected or fixed
11. Ruining my family’s dinner bc my kids wanted pizza so I had to tell them now they “could not” have the pizza I ordered, could not have what they were waiting on, they could not have the pizza pie I paid for that we were craving, and they don’t even have the balls to fully make this right!
12. For michaelangelo’s telling me they were going to hang up the phone on me bc I was angry and venting that out to them.
13. For putting me in a situation where I have to take my time and leave a review so others
know this could happen to them too!
14. For creating this mess and for both michaelangelo’s and slice to claim they are sorry and telling me they WILL make it right then giving me NO RESOLUTION that is satisfactory and for failing to make it right! Saying Sorry does not help me!
15. For failing to take Ownership of this problem; I was told that this continues to happen yet it has not been fixed by michaelangelo’s or slice delivery and it is their internal system and processes, not the customers!
We are extremely unhappy, dissatisfied and livid over this issue that has happened around 5x and we will share this very negative experience online in our reviews and with others so they know the risks of ordering online @Michaelangelo’s and regarding our experience with Slice delivery service.

After dining this past Saturday at the Original Michelangelo Eastport in the KIng Kullen shopping center I was left dumbfounded how such a great place could change so much. It became quickly clear ownership had changed. The restaurant side was completely understaffed and staffed by totally untrained staff. Not a manager visible. The level of cleanliness also went down. The baked clam appetizer was ok but needed to be cooked longer. Our entrees lacked in flavor, my chicken piccata came with a side of pasta with wrong sauce which they did offer to correct. I declined because at this point I wanted to be done. I received the wrong wine but again just wanted to be done so didn’t correct. The icing on the cake was the server dropping the entire bowl of pasta with red sauce on me. He than came back after I cleaned up the booth. When I received the bill he told me he took $5.75 off the $126 bill (pre tax and tip). Never saw a manager, didn’t see one manager meet or greet one table, not sure they even had one which explained the service issues. Doesn’t explain the food quality. There are many great Italian spots in a stones throw. You all really need to do better.

Ordered the Gorgonzola/Salad pie which has been my families favorite for years. The pie costed a whopping $31 dollars and somehow barely had any gorgonzola cheese on it. Basically paid $31 for pizza crust and some arugula & veggies. Won't be ordering again.
