We had a fantastic time bringing my 6-month-old along. I had some tickets from work, so we decided to give it a visit. The sea lion show was enjoyable, and learning about the penguins was interesting. My personal favorites were the fishing cat and the sharks. I just wish the aquarium featured a wider variety of sea life, as it’s somewhat limited in terms of aquatic creatures. However, it’s very well maintained. The butterfly exhibit was also a highlight. Parking costs $12 and is a few blocks away, but I managed to find some free street parking.

It has a good mix of indoor and outdoor areas. The stingray pool is great for small kids, also if you're waiting for friends to arrive. Don't miss the seal show. The bubble window in the penguin area is great, but usually gets crowded since no one wants to leave. The food is fine but really expensive for what you get. You can have food outside but not inside, you get free refills for fountain drinks so keep your cup when you're outside if you want a refill. The only issues are the parking and the multiple gift shops as they all sell different items. Since there is no parking at the Aquarium, you'll need to park a few minutes walk at a paid lot. And don't eat at Jerry and the Mermaid.

Honestly, the LIA was very fun. They have a lot of interactive exhibits perfect for little kids. You can pet the stingrays, and they have a whole touch tank further into the aquarium. Outside they even have a place to walk with some crabs. Very fun and interactive.
The seal show was amazing, and fun way to get a break and sit down for a bit.
Overall, it was enjoyable. The butterfly room was also nice. Spent around 3 hours there, you could do more if you stayed to do interactive shows but not necessary.
3 stars because it is +$50, and parking is additional cost ($12!) a few blocks away. Tickets are cheaper by a few dollars if you order online. At least it was a comfortable temperature inside. The seal show was outside at noon with limited shade so you do get hot pretty fast. Was moderately busy, but did come on a rainy Saturday. Work recommend a different time but I didn’t think it ruined the experience.

The aquarium was nice. The best show is the sea lions. It costs extra to park. Inside there is very little marking to give you directions on where to find anything. There are maps posted but not helpful if there are no buildings signs. The other exhibits.are just okay. They had a butterfly exhibit and that was nice. The butterfly are flying all around you and even land on you.

Overall great experiance, exhibits are amazing and the animals are entertaining. Wish parking was not additional $12, few blocks away and the entrance for 2 adults and child over $100 plus, food over $75 including waters for outdoor walking, small gifts over $20. Adds up fast, wish was a little
more reasonable.
