This place is a hidden gem. The portions are huge and delicious! The owner came to make sure everything was going well. This is how an Italian restaurant should be! 10/10. Definitely recommend!

Away for my Birthday, this restaurant came highly recommended and it exceeded our expectations. Food was amazing and service was top notch! The next time we are on the North Fork we will be back!

Excellent choice just outside of Riverhead. Delicious pasta and seafood dishes by Sicilian-born chef Gambino. We loved our table on the porch in the lovely late summer weather. The Flounder Oreganata was excellent and came with a large side dish of pasta - in our case we chose linguine with clam sauce. The clams were large and flecked with olive and herbs. The pan-fried scallops were similarly mouth-watering. We'll be back.

TLDR: unreliable, unaccommodating, and unfriendly
We booked a reservation via text for this restaurant, but when we arrived and showed them the confirmation, they admitted they made a mistake and didn’t write down our reservation. The hostesses were unwilling to do anything to accommodate us. They initially said it would be a 30 minute wait; however, someone else walking by (who I presume to be an owner, manager, or chef) replied to them saying not to lie to us and that it would be over an hour for a table to open up. They didn’t offer an apology or any accommodation for their mistake. We ended up leaving to go to a fantastic restaurant nearby.
I had seen reviews about the restaurant not honoring reservations and actually chose to go to other restaurants in the past because of that, but I thought I would give it a try at an early dinner time now that the summer is over. Unfortunately, the other reviews about reservations are accurate, and I will not bother making a reservation here in the future.

Well I can’t give a review of the food or anything else as according to the website I called tonight one week in advance for reservations but was told “we don’t do that anymore” when I said I followed the directions on the website I got a repeat of the above I was then told I could come in on Friday next and put myself on the wait list!! Really are you kidding me. I did tell the person on the phone that they should change the website to reflect their new policy to which she replied again I could come in at 4:30 and put myself on the wait list to which I replied you people suck and hung up. We have lived locally for over 30 years and have never had this kind of experience with attempting to get a reservation at any restaurant in this area
so if you stay open year round remember it’s the locals not the pumpkin/Christmas tree /winery crowd keep you going thru the long cold winter days. I for one will never give you my business and will spread my experience to all my local friends. Cause no matter how good your food is common courtesy and how you treat your base customers keeps you in business
