We loved this place — excellent authentic Italian food. We did not have a reservation and had to wait 10 min to be seated, and it was well worth the wait! The lemon pistachio pasta was amazing, and the penne alla vodka cannot be missed! Will be coming back!

Delicious pizza!!! Unfortunately that was the only thing I tried here, but it was best pizza (mushrooms and eggplant)I have tried on Long Island.
Definitely will be back to try some pasta.
People that work there are amazing

I've eaten at Grana a handful of times over the past 4 years, and it is always a great experience. One of my favorite spots on the north fork without a doubt. I think my favorite experience at Grana would be dinner at the bar. The menu has something for everyone, truly. Have had great wines here as well.
My go to recommendation is to read through all of the pasta offerings and go for what appeals to you - every pasta dish Ive had here has been amazing. I'd say everything is priced as expected for the area, but, portions are usually big! Almost always wind up taking something home. The pizza is also a crowd pleasure for sure.
The service is great, which is not always the case on the east end. The atmosphere varies depending on the time/day of the week, and can be relaxed or really lively as well.. We'll return to Grana many times I'm sure.

1st time here for a us and last time. Went out with friends to enjoy a authentic Italian meal on East end. Right away server seemed like she was ready for place to close. Not very friendly and quick to take our order and clear our plates. After wife deciding on raviolis she immediately decided it was not what expected. Filling seemed very bland. Still decided to eat noodle but then to her surprise found a long hair baked in cheese. Called waitress over didn't want to make big commotion since neighboring tables. The server offered her another dish but she was hesitant. She decided on margarita pizza. When Bill came they took raviolis off but charged her 21.00 for pizza. After speaking to manager Winnie/Wendy her response was we don't have anyone in kitchen with blond hair and you didn't like raviolis? We assumed she was insinuating we put the hair in ravioli. My dish was good but to insinuate the customer was deliberately putting hair in food was insulting. Meanwhile the Manager had blond hair and said she does not have authority to remove the 21.00 from Bill. Terrible response and service. The $ was not the point it was the principle. Never will go back..

Excellent spot for authentic Italian-American food. Plates were large but we still managed to eat everything because it was so good (Grana pie for an app, bolognese and chicken parm). The menu is just large enough to have something for everyone, without being completely overwhelming and making you question how they could keep everything fresh. Wait staff was fantastic, took great care of us without hovering (no 30 year old "managers" in a shiny suit dropping in to ask "how everything is"). Consider this place instead of one that's a part of a "restaurant group" next time you're looking to go out for dinner.
